I have been called as the 1st counselor in the YW Presidency. I am super excited about the calling, and have enjoyed my time with the girls. There are a few things we need to implement in our YW program... one of them being NO CELL PHONES! Im sure a lot of other wards have the same problem with their youth, and I have thought and though about what we could do to get the girls to listen, and not text. My sister in law had a great idea about putting the cell phones on vacation. Hence, the box. The idea is to let the girls choose where their cell phones would like to vacation for the hour. We are trying to be light hearted about it, as to not get the girls too angry with us. Tomorrow will be the first time it is introduced to YW. I know there will be a lot of a lot of excuses as to WHY they have to have them but we are prepared for them all. Let the fun begin!

That's is the cutest idea ever! It is very light-hearted and I think the girls would love it! They could even make their own for a mutual activity and then use them for church and other things! I better remember this if I ever am in YW as a leader! Way Cute!
