Things have been a little crazy at our house lately. I quit my first job at the hair salon a week ago. From the pictures you can see that its no Tantrum. Yuck. I tried to get Tabatha over there to clean that mess up, but she's no longer taking applicants. Too bad. So since my employer over at Strands Hair Salon was paying me the same amount I'd make at McD's, I decided to find another place of employment. So here I am at North County Laser Eye Associates. The doctors and staff are very pleasant to work with, and its A HECK OF A LOT BETTER than the crummy Dental Office! I HATE WORKING FOR DENTISTS! I've only been there a week, and they are treating me very well. They offered me FREE lasik surgery if I commit to working with them for 6 months. Otherwise they'll give it to me for 80%. I haven't decided if I'd like to take them up on the offer. Just a small 6 month committment huh? Thats a long time to me, considering the fact that I have a small boy at home that needs mom and mom needs him! I got to watch in on one of the surgery's. Its very quick, and painless. Amazing that something that takes 10 minutes to do costs $4800! Wow. But everyone I've talked to thats had the procedure says its the best money they've ever spent. Hmmmm. Decisions decisions. So thats whats going on over here. We still enjoy having Nanny Jessica here, and are very sad to see her go so soon. Do you know anyone that would like to come watch our cutest little Matthew for 3 1/2 months until she comes back???

Amen, I agree with Melissa! Your salon is a HECKA lot nicer than my great clips, HA! I want surgery. Will they give me a discount b/c your my sister?
I would watch Matthew if I didn't have kids of my own. That would be fun.

It is good to hear from your neck of the woods. I hope you like your new job better. It is hard enough to leave your precious child everyday, let alone to work at a place where you are under-paid and under-valued. Have Lasik for free is a dream come true. Let us know how it works and I might have the courage and money to try it some day.
