All Better

Well, 2 ER and 5 Pediatrician visits later, Matthew is FINALLY better! What an ordeal! We think he had rotavirus, which takes about 10 days to get over. The scary thing is that Matthew needed to be hydrated and get the nutrition from food, but was having a hard time keeping it down. Luckily he never had to be hospitalized for an IV. I am so thankful that my little man is better! Now he has to RE-LEARN how to take naps on his own. He got used to mom holding him all of the time!

Yesterday was Matthew's Blessing. Grandma and Grandpa Gunnell came out, as well as Grandpa Martin, and Greg and Melissa Rupp. We were so grateful to have family support us for this special occasion. Dave did a great job with the blessing, and Matthew cooperated well! After Sacrament, we all went back to the house where I had Costa Vita Sweet Pork Salad's waiting for everyone. It was all homeade of course!

We had to say our last GoodBye's to Stanley. Mom and Dad Gunnell took him home with them. He was having a very difficult time adjusting to life with Matthew. I knew it just wasn't going to work out with him here, so mom was gracious enough to take him. I will miss the little booger, but I need to focus my time on Matthew, and not Stan the Man.

Of course I always hate saying goodbye to family and friends..but I am SO GRATEFUL they were willing to sacrafice their time and money to travel out here to be with us.

Stanley Spidowsky is coming home? Whooo Hoooo! I glad Mom and Dad were able to visit and help with the blessing. We wish we could all be there to support you during all of this. Just know we love you and are mindful of you. Dad sure looks happy holding Matthew.

What Steph???? You didn't give Stanley to me?? That makes me sad. I sure miss him.:) Of course not as much as we miss you guys. Matthew is adorable! We need to plan a trip up to see you guys.

I wish those pics could enlarge so I could get a closer look at everyone. It looks like a nice time and I am glad you had some family to be with you guys. Wow, it will be nice to have Stan home again, he will miss you so, but there will be plenty of love to go around down here.

Glad Matthew is doing much better!
