Today Matthew came with me to Porterville so I could sing with my music group "Harmony". It was quite an adventure. We sang at 3 different nursing homes. I could really tell the patients really enjoyed having us. I was feeling extrememly flustered as I was heading out the door. I knew it was going to be a long day, and I would have Matthew with me the whole time. But as we sang, I forgot about how difficult it may be, and really enjoyed serving others. I am so grateful that I can be a part of a group that allows me to use my talents, and serve at the same time. Matthew was definitely the STAR of the show. I don't think many of the patients even payed much attention to us as they did him. After all of our performances, they would comment on how I have such a happy smiley baby. And its true. Matthew really is such a happy baby. And I must say, for being awake for 9 hrs, he did AMAZING! As I was getting him ready for bed tonight, he couldn't even keep his little eyes open, and was falling asleep as he was eating. I love him so much. Everyday he is changing... a little too fast. Gone are the days when I could rock him and love on him. He is just too busy now! :) He loves to squeek and squawk. He screams so loud that I cant even hear myself think. He loves his mama, and smiles everytime I sing to him. He also likes to sway his foot back and forth to the beat of the music. Gosh, I love this kid! Im so grateful to be his mama!

He is so precious Steph and I love him too! You are such a wonderful mom and I am glad you have him in your family. Thank you for your support and for sharing your talents. I didn't know you were in a singing group, lucky them to have you!
Um . . . you never told us you were a singer!
What a cutie! Isn't motherhood wonderful? As frustrating as is can be at times, I wouldn't change my current occupation for the world.
Hey Step, I can't believe how big Matthew is. He is really starting to look like Dave. Love Emma
he's getting so big
I love all of those pictures! I can't believe he stayed awake and happy for 9 straight hours! What a trooper!
